River Songs (2010)

Commissioned by the Mayor’s Thames Festival, River Songs was composed to be sung by 1000 children from London schools as part of the SingUp project, and was premiered by these massed forces alongside the Thames by Tower Bridge. The work sets words by Alasdair Middleton, telling stories of life by the river.
