 Jonathan Dove – a past Artistic Director of Spitalfields Festival – gives the first performance of Late Night Music, around fifty minutes of quiet, contemplative piano music, which he describes as being “like ripples spreading from drops of water falling into a still pool”. The meditations are designed to lull the audience into a relaxed end to the day.
