On 23 May 2026, the London Symphony Chorus celebrates its 60th anniversary with a special 60th concert featuring Duruflé’s Requiem for chorus, organ and chamber orchestra, alongside two new commissions: Hour of Stars by Grace-Evangeline Mason and Dove’s orchestration of The Passing of the Year. Conducted by Mariana Rosas, with mezzo-soprano Marta Fontanals-Simmons, organist Benjamin Frost, and the London Mozart Players, this concert celebrates the Chorus’s rich history of inspiring performances, international collaborations, and commissioning new works since 1966.
