A new album, featuring Jonathan Dove's luminously beautiful Stargazer, will be released by Orchid Classics on 7 March 2025. Titled BEYOND, the disc celebrates the music of four of today’s most distinguished opera composers in works that redefine storytelling with the orchestra taking centre stage.
Released on Orchid Classics, the disc of world premiere recordings is performed by the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, conducted by contemporary music specialist Timothy Redmond. Stargazer, subtitled “an opera for trombone and orchestra,” is showcased by virtuosic soloist, Peter Moore.
